How PASS works. No dark patterns.
You built the record. You should know exactly how PASS shows it, moderates it, and protects it. Here is the whole thing, in plain English.
You control your feed
PASS has a Following feed that is strictly chronological — the newest posts from the chefs and kitchens you follow, in order, with nothing quietly reordered or buried. There is also a For you feed that suggests chefs you don't follow yet, and a World feed of everything, newest first. You pick. The algorithmic feed is a way to discover people, never the only way to see the ones you already chose.
No covert shadowbanning
We do not secretly hide your posts from your followers. If content breaks the Community Guidelines and is removed or limited, we tell you — you get a notice, the reason, and a way to appeal. Moderation decisions are made by people, with AI only flagging for review; a machine never silently deletes your work. Verification is the same: only a real workplace authority can grant the green tick, and we never fake one.
We never sell your data
PASS does not sell your personal data, and never has. We are not an advertising business — chefs and venues pay for the product, so you are not the product. We don't run third-party ad trackers, and we don't share your verified work history with data brokers. What we collect and why is spelled out in the Privacy policy; you can export or delete everything at any time from Data & deletion.
Post the way you want
PASS is multimodal: post a short skill video, a photo, or just text. A junior with no verified history yet can still show their craft in a clip and get seen. Every post links back to your PASS ID, so what you share builds your name.
Your record is portable
Your verified work history belongs to you. You can take an export with you, and deleting your account removes your data for good. We win by being the place your career lives, not by locking you in.
