PASS is the verified identity, reputation and hiring network for chefs and hospitality professionals. It exists to make a cook's career provable: every job is confirmed by the head chef who actually employed them, so work history is real, dated, and impossible to fake — the opposite of a self-written CV.

How PASS works

  1. Build a verified Chef-ID. Add the kitchens you've worked in; the head chef who employed you confirms each one. Verified tenures become a permanent, portable career record.
  2. Prove your skill in cook-offs. Two chefs, one technique, 60 seconds of video. The world votes. Wins build your reputation and ranking — by city, country, world and discipline.
  3. Get hired on real experience. Restaurants search verified, available talent and hire on confirmed history instead of inflated CVs.

Who PASS is for

Chefs & hospitality pros — build a verified record that follows you for life, post skill cook-offs, and get discovered by kitchens hiring worldwide. Head chefs & restaurants — confirm your team's experience and hire vetted talent on proof, not promises. Anyone — watch and vote on live cook-offs.

Why it matters

Hospitality runs on trust and word-of-mouth, but CVs are easy to inflate and references are slow. PASS turns a chef's history into verified facts — confirmed tenures, a public cook-off record, head-chef recommendations and verified education — so hiring is faster and fairer. Trust on PASS is shown as discrete verified facts, never an opaque numeric score.

PASS is free for chefs, mobile-first (iOS + Android), and available worldwide in 18 languages.

Common questions

What is PASS?
PASS is the verified network for hospitality professionals. You build a verified Chef-ID — your real, confirmed work history — get discovered by employers, and compete in 60-second cook-offs. It's identity, hiring and cook-offs in one place.
How do I get verified?
Ask an authority who was there — your head chef, manager, or the owner of the venue — to confirm the job. Only a verified authority at that workplace can make a record Verified; coworkers can add notes about working with you, but the green tick always comes from the person who ran the kitchen. Open 'Get verified', add where you worked, and send the request.
What is a Chef-ID?
Your Chef-ID is your permanent, verified professional identity on PASS — the confirmed roles, kitchens and career history that you keep for life and can share with employers.
What are cook-offs?
Cook-offs are friendly head-to-head cooking challenges. Two chefs each upload a 60-second clip of the same dish, both clips publish together, and the community votes over 48 hours on who nailed it. Wins show on your profile.
How does hiring work?
Set yourself 'open to work' and verified employers can find you in search and reach out. When you're hired and both you and the employer confirm it, it becomes a verified employment record on your Chef-ID.
Is PASS free?
Yes — joining PASS, building your Chef-ID, getting verified, joining cook-offs and being discoverable are free for chefs. Employers may pay to contact and hire candidates.
